What is politics about?

Politics is the art of the expected and tradition, as well as the art of the unexpected and the impossible!

What do I mean? Well when a a Kennedy goes into politics and does well, that is expected and he/she is simply following in the footsteps of the family. Of couse it would be expected for a Kennedy to go to politics.

As for the unexpected – look at Barack Obama!

And that’s why politics is great – at least in this aspect.

The suspense of politics is also something – for example, will Terry McAuliffe make the Gubernatorial run for Virginia?

Donations for elections during the Wall Street Crisis.

The Wall Street crunch came in a bad time to Political fundraisers. The New York times reports that many fundraisers have a great difficulty.  One campaign financier “had only been given two weeks’ notice to put together a fund-raiser for Senator Barack Obama’s presidential campaign featuring Mrs. Clinton, and was hunting for hefty checks at an inauspicious time, in the middle of a Wall Street meltdown” other fundraisers found it even more difficult as Fox news reported early today.

Robert gibbs Obama’s communications director commented on Mcains offensive remarks and that of Sarah Paley’s allegation that a Obama “pals around with terrorists” — According to Robert this mudslinging began because the Republicans want to talk about something else besides the struggling economy. Democrats on Sunday denounced Pailin’s charge and had warned the Republicans that it will start a re-examination of McCain’s history but they did not wait as Obama’s campaign advisers release the video and the letter about McCain’s role in the Keating five scandal in the 1990s. ladies and gentlemen, a month until the elections and we can announce that the mudslinging has officially began. more in foxnews
